24. Floating Arenas

In eastern Earth, Lyra-9, a cyborg princess with glowing implants under her synthetic skin, oversaw the construction of floating arenas. Crystal towers, relics of the Creators who abandoned Earth, rose in antigravity fields and hovered over the devastated plains. Platforms connected by energy filaments pulsed in shades of cobalt while combat drones programmed with Eryndor technology patrolled the perimeter. The games included aerial duels where human warriors, controlled by neural implants, faced off against drones firing plasma bursts and deadly races between platforms under lightning storms.

Holographic screens projected the image of Xtreme, the Flaming Sky God, who encouraged the crowds on the Forgotten Planet to bet on their champions.
