16. Whispers of Conflict

Decades after the deal was made, the empires of Lyra-9 and Kayle-13 are flourishing. However, the seeds of discord have been planted. In the Eastern Seas, heart cults emerge from ocean bunkers and manipulate humans with sensory implants to form mystical sects that challenge the pharaohs and caliphs. Meanwhile, in the center, Xtreme forces operating from celestial fortresses incite conflicts between the kingdoms of Kayle-13 by offering technology in exchange for loyalty. In Lyra-9, a pharaoh-queen rules a sand empire. She discovers a submerged alien bunker containing the Star Heart, a relic of the First Born capable of neutralizing either the Heart cults or the Xtreme forces. Meanwhile, Kayle-13, who leads a kingdom of warriors, develops weapons based on technology from the Forgotten Planet. However, he fears that his followers are being corrupted by Xtreme's influence.
